xrv9k should have some default call-home, in some scenario, need to add some extra configuration, as follow:

Manage License and Smart account

Login to Cisco Software Central

If need to manage license, you can check License part; If need to manage Smart account and virtual account, check Administration part.

Create Token in License part

After book license by smart license, you will found have licese info in your smart account, then create the token in “Inventory”:

Activate license at XRv9k

Activate by “license smart register idtoken”

Token Expired no any business effective

For the token only be used during registration, in order word, combin smart license and platform. It is not required to maintain registration. An expired token will have no effect on your registration. As follow example that token expired, license is ok. So license expired notification only for license, not for token.
